This documentary succinctly reviews the "big name" diets of today- Keto, Mediterrranean, Vegan, Carnivore- weighing their benefits and disadvantages without feeling unduly partial to any. The theme is that diets should work for individuals and not fitting individuals judgmentally into each diet. The direction and pacing moves fast while conveying a lot of information. It helps that the experts being interviewed look healthy and fit and like people you'd like to emulate. The narrative reinforces that an individual's bodily activity/ exercise helps determine which diet is best for them. Although the filmmakers obviously cannot go into every detail, this movie is one of the best informative overviews of contemporary diets.

I have tried to eat clean for as long as I can remember. I've done so all on my own. I've Googled various fad or popular diets to see what they're about and have occasionally incorporated some of them into my eating plan. But for me, it's always been by the seat of of pants. What I particularly enjoyed with this documentary is that it did a great job in breaking down the various popular diet plans. I thought I had a good understanding of them but I began to realize I wasn't as well informed as I first thought. I appreciated how I felt I wasn't being led in one direction or another. But rather, here are the pluses and minuses and you can decide what diet plan works best for you. The experts featured were good and entertaining. They held my interest, they were very well informed. I clearly give this documentary a thumbs up!

Cross-interviews with athletes, nutritionists and catering professionals analyze the most popular diets by specifying their strengths and limitations. This informative and tolerant documentary questions our nutrition and reminds us of the meaning of "eating well." Moreover, technically speaking, the shots, the sound, the editing, ... there is absolutely nothing to complain about! Congratulations to the team behind this beautiful project which I hope will be widely accessible for educational purposes.
