One of the weakest Korean historical dramas I've ever watched:
A ruthless court where everyone kills, imprisons, and tortures anyone they want, giving them rewards or ranks for no reason, the is no rule no standard !!
A queen mother who secretly meets with her lover and plots the death of a prince who has learned her secret !
A king who has no royal presence or dignity other than shouting, even at the first place, choosing him acting as a king is a bad choice because his appearance and acting skills lack the grandeur and charisma of a someone who rules a vast territory;
a court physician who, despite being a doctor from the beginning, easily massacres 3 professional court assassins who have been trained in military techniques in his first years working in court;
the brother of the heir to the throne, who acts extremely weak his role;
a prince who shows no special ability to be a prince until the last 20 minutes of the last episode of the drama .... and if I were to write about the flaws in the story of this series again, it would take a whole notebook.
The plot was so stupid, unrealistic, and full of shortcomings that I subconsciously hated all of its characters except for the leading actress Hon Ye Ji.
I give this drama a 6 out of 10 and I don't recommend it to others.
