Not even close to "decent"
Well...enough reviews of this to make people go: "Hmm, looks like it might be worth my time"
It isn't. Not even close.
Poor development, poor dialogue, poor direction...like a mat monkey made it...
And it seems there is more cauliflower than substance between the ears from this crew.
Slow and slower, and dumber.

Good example of "good idea, bad execution".
While KILL ME AGAIN indeed has an interesting core to itself, one can't help but notice a few crucial deficiencies that held it back from becoming a great little film.
First of all, the script would have needed some revision. With so many pages, it wouldn't have been a bad idea to cut away some of the repetitive fat, streamlining the plot a bit.
Also, while the direction at times was competent, at other times it just devolved into amateur filmmaking: crude violations of the 180 degree rule, stunningly bad shot decisions and some camera operating that delivers some frustratingly bad framing, combined with some clumsy direction of the otherwise good actors.
The importance of good sound editing cannot be overstated. While going unnoticed when done right, bad dialogue editing and sound design have a devastating effect on the quality of a film, and here, some of the mistakes are absolutely unacceptable. Audible drops in ambience when cutting away and unintelligible dialogue because of noise reduction cannot be excused.
All this is really too bad, because with a bit more competence, all of this could have easily been avoided, and KILL ME AGAIN would have been quite the enjoyable experience. As it is, it's mostly a drag and a painful experience, considering the missed opportunity.
Good to see Brendan Fehr again, though.

Starts well but fades badly
Primarily adding a review on here to negate some of the existing 10 out of 10 scores which this film clearly isn't. Despite being obviously low budget this starts really well (imagine Groundhog Day but Bill Murray just keeps killing everyone) but the longer it goes on the less interesting it gets. There isn't enough variation in events happening after the first half an hour to keep you engrossed and I did find myself checking a couple times to see how long was left.
Acting was fine but chopping out 20 minutes wouldn't have done any harm plus the ending definitely felt a bit flat.

Super Dark Groundhog Day
This movie is basically Groundhog Day with a serial killer. The explanation for why and how the main character is stuck in a time loop is different, however. The time loop is much shorter too, as it transpires over the course of an evening, rather than a day. The point of the movie is essentially the same, believe it or not, but the character is extremely dark and most people will not care very much about his struggle. The situation is curious enough to keep your attention, but it is also a little confusing, as the rules of the time loop seem to change from time to time. There is one deep moment where one can find meaning in all of it, but nearing the end it seems to have failed. The main character development is ultimately too rapid and thus unconvincing. The explanation was interesting, but I think it hurts the film to present it in a dark way. Life, after all, is kind of like a time loop that repeats it's different iterations every new born life, and we are all here to learn to be better human beings. So I don't see to add any negativity to that. This was just a dark and extreme microcosm. Overall 6/10. Worth a watch.
Boring
"Kill Me Again" (2025) is one of the worst horror movies I've seen in recent years. Even the death scenes are poorly executed - instead of feeling the presence of a serial killer, it feels like watching the work of a confused 10-year-old playing pretend. Not scary, not thrilling, not funny - just painfully awkward from start to finish.
