    "The First Berserker"

After playing through all of Khazan, I can officially say that this might be my new favorite game and one of the best souls likes since Lies of P. It's been awhile since a game has captivated me enough to play through its entirety and achieve the True Ending, and the journey to get there was beyond incredible. One of the main aspects I loved about The First Berserker was the Cel Shaded Artstyle which I really enjoyed and gave the game a unique flair compared to other souls games. Combat felt very satisfying as you swap between three different weapon styles that are all fun to use from Duel Axes, Great Swords and Spears. The bosses were fantastic and easily one of the best boss lineups on par with Dark Souls 3, from the designs to the attack animations, each boss felt insanely fun and challenging to face off against and learn their attack animations, not to spoil anything about the story but the Final Boss is Peak and one of the hardest Final Bosses since Isshin from Sekiro. Although there isn't a lot of enemy variety, experimenting with different combos on each one will never not be satisfying. The level design while simple is still stunning to see, it's easy to appreciate the care put into the scenery throughout the game. While the story is nothing unique it's still fun to learn more about the lore of the world especially through playing some of the side missions. Overall, First Berserker Khazan is very fun and definitely worth checking out if you're craving a challenging experience.

    Roll up your sleeve

Played lies of p ng++++ for so long waiting for something else to play.

Tried this game DEMO before deciding to buy it.

**** my pants and got kicked down to earth again.

Trying to figure out if you should parry or sidestep the **** you don't want to deal with or just accept it.

Best part is if you feel like you got sh** on even tho you made it... you can do it all over again. Sekiro was the only game I could meet the same boss again without NG+ just to show them where their seat is at the table. BUT this time you get the same reward or something better for doing it.

Remember you are the boss. It's the mobs/bosses that are afraid of you, not the other way around.

A Souls Game for Weebs (Like Me)

Khazan: The First Bezerker follows a disgraced war hero who must cut, slice, and mutilate his way forward to find information regarding his betrayal.

The game consists of extremely smooth fighting mechanics, multiple types of builds, and a well-written, engaging story.

The game is definitely souls-like in that it requires you to parry, dodge, adapt your inventory to have a better chance of taking down some tough bosses.

Despite the difficulty of the game, you find yourself almost addicted when you finally manage to destroy a boss with just a tiny amount of health remaining.

The amount of various bosses, landscapes, weapons, and armors you find keep the game feeling refreshing despite the overall theme of the game: survive.

I enjoyed my time playing this game. I played it on easy and I'm about to do a second run with my end-game stats in an attempt to beat the game on its intended difficulty. Warning: Easy mode is in no way easy. They should've called it "less hard".
