The film * NAYAB* is a worthwhile watch. On a scale from zero to ten, I give this film a nine. This movie.literally brought tears to my eyes. I highly recomend this movie to all my friends to go and watch. I personally liked the acting of Akbar and the female lead, rest were also good. The script and concept of the movie was also real and original. Also i feel that some filmi masala was missing in the movie. Overall the movie and the direction at its best.
I wish all the very best to a team of the movie and hope this movie will support and encourage the team to make such movies in the future as well.
All the best to this movie and love.

Anyone who feels for every little thing and have dreams and goals to achieve in life would find this film so relatable. The film has some flaws too but those flaws are so minor ones that one can keep those at one side and enjoy the emotional roller coaster ride.
The strong narrative and spectacular performances by every actor are the limelight of the film! One cannot point out any one performance as weak, all the actors have performed so well.
Also, how a normal middle class family survives within the society, how a man, who has to play all the roles of a son, a brother, a husband and a father, has left his passion and dreams behind and takes complete responsibility of the family, this is done in such a convincing manner that while watching it we could feel for Akka.
Likewise, the girl, Nayab, her struggles, her aggression, her passion and how she fights against all the odds and achieves her dream is so beautifully done by Yumna Zaidi. Yumna has aced it. There is no doubt in it that when Yumna opts a character, then you will not see her, instead, you will see the character and you would feel for that character. That's how beautifully Yumna performs.
The chemistry between Nayab and Zain (played by Usama Khan) could be seen, although the screen time for their scenes was less but still every time they came, it felt good to see them.
Every character in the film, be it Zain (played by Usama Khan), Sarwar Sir (played by Muhammad Ehtishamuddin), Sadia (played by Noreen Gulwani), the coach (played by suneel shankar), the girl beena (played by Sana Taj) and I am forgetting the name of the character who was in the college, who encouraged Nayab to play sport, all the characters are fitted so well.
While watching it one doesn't feel that any of the character is forcefully put into the story. All characters have their value to be added to the narrative. Lastly, the character of Shahid sahab (played by Javed Sheikh), it was so emotional. The scenes of Akka and Nayab with their father were so emotional. One cannot stop the tears from dropping due to the intense emotions portrayed by the actors on screen.
Also, the way some scenes were shot leaves a mark on you as an audience, for example, the scene that was in the ground between Akka and Nayab, the scenes in the cricket academy between Sarwar Sir and Nayab were so amazingly done that one feels the fear that Nayab must be feeling.
Coming to the music, it was soothing, the lyrics were so beautifully written that it gives you a pure Pakistani vibe. All the songs, mental sa dil, shendi, Junoon, Iraaday, Nayab anthem, all gives you a soothing and fun vibe. You don't feel bored.
The only point that I felt could have been improved was the sequence of shendi song and the initial karachi strike scene, which was later repeated again and then the reason was disclosed. And the funeral scenes I felt could have been avoided, I felt it was not needed. I felt the first half was dragged a bit, but the 2nd half was so crisp and kept me hooked emotionally into the story.
At the end, I felt there should have been at least 2 or 3 more scenes added to show the bond of nayab with her parents and her relation with Zain as well. Also, I felt that the tournament scenes could have been added more to show Nayab's cricketing style on international platform. As an audience, I wished to see those scenes, which I missed seeing it. Overall, the movie is full of emotions and drama. I enjoyed it.
I would give it 3.8 stars out of 5.
A must-watch!

Nayab, much like its name suggests, has become a rare and precious cinematic gem for me. The spectrum of emotions it evoked, from the beginning to the end - happiness, excitement, passion, love, desire, need, pride, anger, fury, outrage, resentment, sadness, grief, sorrow, and most importantly, a profound love for Pakistan - left an indelible mark. The interactions between Nayab and Akka, whether solo or together, are nothing short of phenomenal and spectacular. Yumna Zaidi's performance is mind-blowing, the best as always and I'll forever be a fan of her and she stayed true to words the audience will connect and relate with all characters specifically (Nayab and Akka). Fawad Khan, you made me cry, especially in that unforgettable scene. Usama Khan, portraying the ideal support every girl desires in a partner. Kudos to the entire cast, director Umair Nasir Ali, producers, and the rest of the Nayab team. It's truly worth your time - go, immerse yourself, and enjoy Nayab: The Movie."
Experiencing this film was pure joy! The narrative was enthralling, the visuals awe-inspiring, and the soundtrack utterly enchanting. Nayab has undoubtedly raised the bar for Pakistani cinema. The portrayal of Karachi was refreshing, revealing both its beauty and its gritty reality in a whole new light. The Nayab's cricketing journey was as insight to the physical and emotional struggles our cricketers go through. The acting was at par with international standards, some of the veterans and other new faces did a phenomenal job. Wishing the whole team success and looking forward to the next masterpiece.
You're going to fall in love. All the actors were so good. It's a must watch! An amazing film from pakistani cinema.
