According to the 'Ards TT' programme of 1936, the fastest lap of the 13.5 miles (21.73 kilometres) road-circuit in a 'Supercharged' car was 9 minutes, 51 seconds with an average speed of 83.20 mph (133.897 Km/h) set in 1932 by 'Sir. Henry Birkin' driving an 'Alfa Romeo - C8'.

However the fastest lap of the 13.5 miles (21.73 kilometres) road-circuit in a 'Non-Supercharged' car was 9 minutes, 56 seconds with an average speed of 82.51 mph (132.787 Km/h) set in 1935 by the 'Hon. Brian Lewis' driving a 'Bugatti - Type 59'.
