Kourabiedes apo hioni

One of the most touching Christmas movies of all time. We need more films like this both in Greece and worldwide. This is a very elaborate and expensive production, shot in the beautiful village of Tsepelovo, Ioannina, a village in Zagorochoria. The wonderful Angelos Antonopoulos stars as the real "Santa Claus", a confectioner named Panagiotis who knows how to be a good grandfather, not only for his own grandchildren but for every child of the village.

The director is wonderful in his directorial debut, the writers have brilliantly written a clean and unpretentious film that is enjoyable to watch for young and old alike, and the wonderful cast of well-known and deserving actors makes the film so good and timeless.

This is an awesome and very moving story, full with childlike joy and innocence. It is really pleasant and it will make you laugh and dream. It is a movie that can be watched all around the year, just like its story evolves for months and years, and its kindness will get you to the Christmas spirit of when we were all children with a clean and loving heart.
