Pickup Here is a fun short with a witty ending showcasing everything is not as it seems. As simple as the short may initially appear, you can tell a lot of fun went into the making of this, which personally reminds me of why we as humans create art in the first place. Some of the closeup hand shots were very interesting and I can't wait to see the creator explore and play more with this perspective in his future projects. There were some zoom shots that seemed laggy, and the dealer's costuming could have been more pronounced, but I understand that this may be in part due to budget constraints, and these are also easy things to improve going forward. Overall an enjoyable watch and excited to see what JCM creates next.
