Saim and Zobia are neighbors and close childhood friends. Upon reaching adolescence, their families advise them to limit their interactions. However, Saim and Zobia don't heed them and continue meeting in secret. Their friendship turns into love when Saim realizes his feelings towards Zobia and Zobia returns his feelings. However, as they are young and immature, their families do not trust them to make a sensible decision at their ages and continuously try to come between them and calm them down. Animosity between their families worsens due to their antics, and, believing they have no other option to be together, they decide to take a drastic measure, which doesn't end well. The pair become estranged and Zobia struggles with facing excommunication from her beloved family for dishonoring them. Both Saim and Zobia grow up and build their careers, but still long for each other. After many ups and downs over the years and a long separation they finally reunite.
