Better than expected
There weren't many reviews so I thought I would give my opinion in case you are debating on watching.
I thought the actors did a wonderful job. The characters portrayed were spot on.
One scene was a little crazy & caught me by surprise. Didn't see that coming type scene.
This is as a great movie for a rainy day or a day you want to relax & take in a good show.

Interesting at best
Typical inheritance movie , gosh how many I've seen now but I liked the atmosphere.
I also enjoyed getting to know the characters and think they did quite well. (With what they were given) .. So give it a try but make absolutely sure your either tired or bored of everything else!!!
Death always brings out the worst in people!

Not So Sure About This One
This movie is a little bizarre in that it's trying too hard to be deep. Like a modern art piece without any substance. There are little messages strewn throughout that lose their meaning. Or maybe there's no real meaning behind them at all. It makes me miss the days when they used to just tell a story without all the unnecessary hoopla. What I personally disliked about this movie is the constant yelling. It's too much and verges on annoying. Subtlety is much more impactful but I guess that's lost to everyone here. Lastly, the ending is mediocre at best. I couldn't bring myself to care.
The ending lost me
The synopsis for "The Reunion" is a little misleading, as it kind of sets you up for a greedy family hungrily pushing their rich grandma into an old folks home to get her stuff. But instead, the family loves her, and are painfully coming to the realization they can no longer care for her increasingly violent behavior due to dementia. Yes, they want her stuff, too, but it's not the main point of the film.
It's well done overall and the actors do a good job with what they have. And if you've ever been in their situation or even close to it, you can't help but become emotionally invested.
However, the third act absolutely unravels. It begins with-I kid you not-a TEN MINUTE LONG screaming birthing scene, and unfortunately it turns a previously decent film into mush. It was truly a rough go from there on out, made worse by an abysmal ending that-adding insult to injury-included the now birthed baby screaming throughout the entire long, unsatisfying wrap up, making it difficult to even hear the exposition being offered. My rating plummeted.
Honestly, had the film simply stuck to the family dynamics without going all weird it would have been a much better offering. But sadly the train ran off the tracks and I just couldn't hang on.

Great Thriller!
Really well made and shot beautifully. The characters had fantastic dynamics with each other and each stood out on their own. It was certainly not your typical Drama and I enjoyed that about it. The baby scene was out there. But it really helped to see even more into Emma Booth's character. I loved the movie and recommend it to anyone looking for a good thriller.
