The name of the female protagonist is "Ebru", which sounds very familiar to "Hebrew" - the language in which the very first Bible was written. There are more than a couple of instances in which "Bible" and "Jesus" are referred to in this movie, though this movie is based and made in Turkey, which is predominantly a muslim country.
