Oliver Kalkofe and Peter Rütten in The Worst Movies of All Time (2013)

Trivia

The Worst Movies of All Time

Edit
It was at one point considered to add Hercules in New York (1970) to the bad movie lineup. However, Arnold Schwarzenegger himself vetoed, saying he doesn't allow this film to be broadcast on television anymore. That decision stems from his strong dislike and embarrassment towards it. However, after an agreement was reached, the film aired on 8th May 2020 on Tele5, right before an actual SchleFaZ-episode.
Before the first season of the show was released and the bad-move lineup was announced director Uwe Boll released a video thanking Oliver Kalkofe and Peter Rütten that none of his movies were about to be shown. Nevertheless the first episode of season 3 began with Uwe Boll himself announcing "The worst movies of all times, brought to you by ... me". During season 8 it was announced that one of Boll's movies would be the subject in an episode. The station Tele5 casually showed Uwe Boll movies in the schedule.
After featuring the cult-film Sharknado (2013) in the show, which led to an increase in the film's popularity in Germany, Oliver Kalkofe and Peter Rütten earned cameo roles in Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! (2015).
