Episode #1.5

Erin is determined to find her sister, and travels to the island where her sister has managed to survive, unfortunately there is a serpent lurking in this paradise, a serpent that hides a secret, and wants to survive, even if it means killing.

This isn't for everyone, I can see that, it is arguably the most zany plot I've seen on TV for ages, it makes recent sci fi dramas seem almost feasible.

It is certainly not deserving of its mediocre score, it's so much better than that, sure it's ludicrous, but it's exciting, it's tense, it moves by at a frantic pace, and Sheridan Smith gets more and more grimy as the episode moves on.

I've watched over two nights, and not once have I been bored of confused, I have really enjoyed it, and it concludes well here.

The acting has been on point throughout, and of course Sheridan Smith has been excellent, but huge credit also to Celine Buckens, she was cracking.
