Return to old style Hollywood films

Down at the heels ex cop jumps back into detective mode when his daughter disappears, and while the premise is old the depiction is new. Max Martini provides a riveting performance, one that has both hubris and humor. Linda Purl and Patrick Duffy are perfect foils and noteworthy performers. Of particular note is newcomer Ysabela Espinosa, who plays daughter Ava Turner and provides a beginning and end vocal support that is hauntingly beautiful.
