Really is terrible
Does Apple Astro turf good reviews on here? This episode and this series are really bad. Trained agents failing to subdue anyone or even remember the plate or make of a van that nearly runs them over, twice.
This is objectively a badly written season. The first 4 seasons were a different show entirely. This fifth one has no plot, characters acting uncharacteristically and twists that are so obvious, I spotted them, yet the MI5 completely missed them.

Really crap now
This season has been a disaster with the storyline just totally unbelievable. The three best characters ,Lamb River and Taverner are hardly in it ,with Rivers character becoming a joke and not a funny joke at that. It started in the last season with the stupid scene where women couldn't load a gun but this season is so much worse .The Slow. Horses are supposed to be hidden gems that are ,in some instances are actually smarter than the Park but now both the Park and the Slow Horses are too inept to stomach.
I am shocked that anyone thinks this show is still worth watching.

Batman Did It!
The storyline is approaching Dumb and Dumber! How could the entire service not be on to what was happening when every single person watching knew what the writer, Mick Herron, clearly thought was a surprise cliffhanger?!
Shirley Dander (Aimee-Ffion Edwards) speaks English with a heavily-accented Libyan accent (that is, when her Welsh isn't showing) yet she's believed when she says she doesn't speak much Arabic!
In addition, JK Coe's (Tom Brooke) quirkiness quotient is all filled up. He's now neck and neck with Ho (Christopher Chung) for the Most Annoying Award.
We've all known incompetent people who have landed in jobs for which they are unqualified, but Whelan (James Callis) wouldn't be entrusted with the car keys much less MI-5.

Batman
Unlike the other reviewers here, I actually thought that this episode was slightly better but still not up to the brilliance of earlier series
The Batman joke was the standout of the show but, unlike previous episodes, there were a few more things to make me smile.
Still hoping that this series is just a blip.
It looks like regular appeared Molly will be leaving thd show while Jonathan Oryce did his scene alone.
Maybe it's a generational thing that some people find this brilliant while thd more nature viewer just finds most of it mildly amusing having seen so much of it elsewhere before.

Crazy plot twist
I'm shocked with that plot twist about Tara and found she's involved in everything
And of course I loved Diana line about Lamb
" he has more field experience that anyone in MI5 "
I wonder why Lamb is looking fot some file he is planning for something
David was right River should have listened to him and Cathrine knew the same thing but it's late
I'm ready and not ready at the same time for the final episode
10/10 Absolute Tv show.

- TriviaWhen River and Coe are debriefing Lamb about the events of the evening, Lamb (Gary Oldman) recaps the bombing of the Penguins at the zoo. He asks River who might have a grudge with Penguins to which River replies, "Batman?" Gary Oldman played Commissioner Gordon in Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy
- GoofsThere are two fundamental issues with the hack of the MI5 systems. Firstly, the entire point of a sandbox environment is to physically exclude untrusted applications from gaining access to anything beyond the sandbox. Secondarily, no intelligence agency would have a logical or physical connection between their forensic IT facilities and their production environment. There is no way that any kind of hack could have the shown effect.
