    ????????????

Why would they do that, we know the motives and barely anything is revealed at the capture, the only cool thing is Gina Gershon ONCE AGAIN playing a lesbian. Sure, I enjoyed it, but lord was it strange. Why was Chris Martin mentioned? Why does Gina Gershon have to say "tiktoks" and "millennials" AND WHY EARS? WHY WHY WHY. All this for an episode that can be put on in the background and you'll understand everything immediately. Plot points are brought up one scene, next scene immediatley used to once again dog on who Elsbeth thinks the killer is (of course shes right) also.... ILLEGAL THINGS??? ELSBETH HAS NO CLEARENCE TO DO A LOT OF THE WEIRD STUFF SHE DOES! GINAS CHARACTER IS RIGHT THIS IS HARASSMENT.

I just had a plot question.

I just had a plot question. What exactly *is* The Reveal? I do get that it's a post-surgical recuperation facility. But is it part of Vanessa's practice? If so, what is Astrid doing there? The opening scene has her declaring she is going off on her own, and then there was a montage more or less showing that, and suggesting some passage of time. Or is there a way a facility like this can belong to more than one practice together?

To respond to another review, I kind of agree they are not using hardball evidence-based investigation, but rather a lot of reliance on personal reactions of whether different suspects are good people, or (as they do say in this ep) relying on gut feelings and how suspects present themselves. Also the detectives who are opposing Elspeth seem to always give in with good grace when she turns out right,

    Repetitive and lacks rational things

I'm feeling that the writers are not even trying to be half-serious anymore. Why even bother to have some small clues that a trained eye can catch, if it's all literally "oh it's my guts so I'm right"?

Previous episodes were at least somehow credible but it's starting to be obnoxious. The detectives are comically clueless and the main character is catching the victim at first look without any explanation or rational thinking. Honestly, this looks like a cheap trick for the writers to cut corners.

I'm okay if the show is trying to be light-hearted, it's totally fine, but can we not over-simplify things? Side characters are totally killing it (literally and figuratively) but the main one feels too repetitive.
