Summaries

  • A true-life chivalry drama starring an all-star cast that depicts a young man who dives into the world of gamblers and eventually becomes the dominant force in Japan's gangster society. 1933. Ryuji Inahara enters the world of gamblers as expected by the boss of Denzaburo Kato, who has territory in Kawasaki. His older brother, Shinjiro Yokoyama, teaches him how to live the life of a gambler. Through these encounters, he began to rise to prominence. After the defeat in the war, he took over Morocco's Tatsu, Teruichi Izawa, and other group members, and in 1944, he succeeded the Yamazaki family in Atami and became a territory owner. At the time, a group of foreigners who had become victorious citizens were rampaging in Atami, but the problem was resolved through the efforts of Inahara and his henchmen who risked their lives. Through this, Inahara gained the trust of the general public.
