I mean, they aren't Mormon. I know that doesn't make the show sound as catchy and won't attract as many people. It would be interesting to see a scandal of people in the church and how the church dealt with them but unfortunately that isn't what you get here. These women aren't only lot Mormon they never were, I can't find anything credible that says they were ever Mormon or a part of the church. But if you want to watch an Utah real housewives kind of show maybe you would like this. If you were expecting any of the people in this show to be Mormon you should know they are not Mormon. And if they were they would have been kicked out of the church long ago, but they're not and near as I can tell, never were.
Sorry I was super excited about this show the way that the previews made it looked. But it was actually pretty boring. And the fact that Jen Affleck has her full name every time she is on screen is beyond annoying! Who TF cares that's her last name?!?!? She even admitted that she has never even met her husband's second cousin, so quit ridding those coattails. I'm not going to lie I have a second cousin myself who is a celebrity but I don't go around bragging day and night about that. Even to the point we have spent holidays together as a family so I have that up on her, but even some of my closest friends don't know that he is my cousin. Sorry but I'm really disappointed by this show.
Not only is the religion this show claims to be about being misrepresented (using b-roll of Catholic Churches and stained glass, among many other things). It's crazy that these women are getting any sort of tv show or screen time. I understand there is a market for brain rot and idiocy, but this is unbelievable.
If you want to learn about Mormons, this will be a great look into a really small specific group and their personal drama. They don't deserve an audience, they don't deserve to represent any type of origination in any way, shape, or form. I'm disappointed to be in the same generation as these degenerate, attention seeking screenagers.

Women who don't actually seem to care about their religion, but instead wanted a shot to be real housewives.
Shallow, foul human beings.
Sensationalized and misleading portrayal of LDS women. Instead of offering an authentic look at their lives, it focuses on rare, fringe situations that distort reality for shock value. The show lacks nuance, perpetuates harmful stereotypes, and does a disservice to viewers looking for genuine insight. Rather than fostering understanding, it exploits its subjects for entertainment. If you're looking for a thoughtful exploration of Mormon culture, this is not the place to find it.

I appreciated seeing some people question their religion and be honest about some of the challenges it brings.
It's great to see large groups of girls being there for each other, but Whitney needs to be kicked. She's toxic, a prick, and has no self insight. She ruins and overshadows some of the positive things you could have benefited from experiencing and seeing in a large group of people.
A general insight into the life of a social media mormon character. I learned things i didn't know and even had to google some of the laws they try to live by.
They also have the girls' parents in some scenes and here it really becomes apparent how the younger generation is trying to adapt the faith to a more understanding and modern time.
