This was a great, at times haunting, episode that gave us even more insight into Project Necromancer, the extent of it and how the empire has no limits when it comes to achieving their goal!
This episode was darker than most and even a bit emotional, as the inclusion of children really changed it all! This is the kind of episodes where you really start to hate the empire and wants to see our characters suceed!
Another great CW character returns and his inclusion makes sense as he has done this job before in another CW storyline from season two!
Emerie also gets some screentime and we see through her just how far the empire is going this time!
I am glad this is a two-parter cause I am excited for the next!

I'll be honest after episode 3 I feel like this season has been very meh in a lot of ways. I just overall feel like the storytelling, character work and writing of most episodes left a lot to be desired among other issues, however with this episode we seem to finally be getting back on track! While nothing amazing or anything and the character work is still meh the storytelling and plot developments are quite good. I think this episode had a lot of interesting aspects and was well paced. The episode also did a pretty decent job at setting up future conflicts! Overall a good episode, I hope from this point on good will be the norm!
A secret lab.
A sinister doctor.
Kids with supernatural abilities held as 'test subjects' in a cold, sterile environment and designated numbers instead of names.
Hawkins Lab in Stranger Things? Nope. Just another example of Disney not knowing what to do with Star Wars.
George Lucas took inspiration from many sources (1930's sci-fi serials, westerns, samurai, Tolkien, even Casablanca!) but they were seamlessly integrated. Not copy-pasted.
The episode was also TONALLY incongruous. Not because it was "too serious" (the Season 2 Finale was "serious" and SUPERB) but because this style of animation is simply the wrong genre for slow, creepy dystopian tales.
Finally, what's with Disney SW having entire episodes in which TITULAR characters are nowhere to be seen?
Boba Fett failed to appear in TWO episodes of 'Boba Fett.' Ahsoka had a SINGLE scene in the 6th episode of 'Ahsoka.' Now the Batch are absent from 'Bad Batch.'
It's symptomatic of directionless writing and lack of vision.
To be clear, I LOVE this show in general. But it should stick to doing what it does best: Beautifully animated environments, exciting action... and fun adventure!
