I've seen plenty of bad movies- hell, I've made a few. But, this one takes the cake.
The characters have no personality and are immediately forgettable or annoying, the story is non-existent, the fades to black are SO constant that it's nauseating, the animation makes Foodfight look like Toy Story, musical numbers end as quickly as they begin, there are so many plot inconveniences that either make zero sense, are very frustrating or confusing, the climax is rubbish, the dialogue sounds like an F graded fanfiction, it's only an hour yet it drags on and on, the voice acting is either "eh" or downright abysmal, and things just come right out of nowhere with either minimal explanation or TOO MUCH exposition.
We get told the same story beats over and over again (including the first 5 minutes alone), as if the audience is way too brain dead to see what's going on. It's very frustrating to deal with.
The worldbuilding makes absolutely zero sense; on my first viewing, I couldn't tell if the characters were actually drawings, or that they're in another world, etc. The whole coma thing really confused me.
Our Drawings is a dreadful example of both storytelling, AND filmmaking. I would give credit that only one or two guys made this, and I'm glad their passion project is out; it's a shame the six years was spent on the most confusing, infuriating and braindead schlock I've ever seen.
...I should apologise to Disney's Wish.

This movie is so so so bad. I kind of lose everytime I see the scene with the beat boxing puppy. They introduce it like:
"We've been knowing how to draw."
" B E A T B O X I N G P U P P Y"
"Huh?"
And the beatbox starts. It's not even a beatbox, as someone pointed out, it's just singing with music in the background. The animation makes me want to fill my lungs with fluids, the voice acting is lethargic, and the ice cream guy, or calobi himself, is clearly trying to be cool, but is just annoying. In the movie, people constantly call out bad guys for tracing, which is something calobi is imfamous for doing.
Don't watch it unless your drunk.

This is... a film! Actually, I can barely call it a film
The script follows absolutely no basic plot, we get the same opening monologue about 3 times, and every single time we get it, it introduces the story differently, causing so much confusion and just making the film unbearable. The same shots are used over and over, and the director REALLY likes fading to black for whatever reason.
The voice acting is just absolutely terrible, when characters yell you can hear the microphones peaking, and the emotion just isn't there. Also the character Calobi is just the director's self-insert.
The film repeatedly tries to make some sort of commentary about AI art, tracing art, today's economy, world peace, among other things, but the topics are just dropped and never bought back up again.
I can see that the director wanted this film to have some sort of meaning to it, a deeper message, but everything about it just falls flat on it's face. But hey, if you're looking for a movie to watch while high, this is it.

Here's my review for Our Drawings.
This movie may be one hour long, but it has multiple negative qualities, such as that the pacing of the film can either go at a breakneck speed and all of a sudden get slow and boring, and the story/world-building is also confusing and incoherent at the same time. Also it doesn't take the time to introduce some of the other characters, and rather introduces the same character we already met (Paige) multiple times. I'm curious, who's the name of the furry blue guy with bunny ears or the floating rock guy with sunglasses?
It does have potential, but the execution made it hard to tell what's going on even less than 10 minutes into the movie, and things mostly just happen or even repeat (like Paige's backstory), and some of the characters can be annoying and sometimes obnoxious.
The afterimage effect for the animation also made it harder to watch (especially scenes where characters or the camera move fast). But the animation/visuals itself isn't the worst and can sometimes be passable, but it's not amazing.
The editing is also all over the place too (for example, a scene will fade out even in the middle of a conversation, and it happens often.)
However there are some positives, the parts that I found the most positive and somewhat funny include the Wizard and Beatboxing Puppy characters.
I don't really think this movie's great, and there are definitely multiple flaws that needs to be fixed with the pacing, characters, animation (the afterimage effect), editing, and story/world-building for it to be good, and it's better to watch something else. I'll give it a 2-3/10 for the effort (and Beatboxing Puppy)

I didn't think a movie could possibly be this bad but Calobi (the director) proved me wrong! This is the worst movie I have ever seen, not even megamind vs the doomsyndicate is this bad.
This movie's message is horrible solely because of the execution.
Would you believe me if where to say that this movie starts with 3, yes 3 narrations about the main character, PLUS they change her lore each and every time. They first say that she had a wish come true, then they say that she has a magic pencil, AND THEN they say she suffered from a coma which led to her getting the ability to go into her drawings world.
This movies pacing is god awful it is so insanely fast and so insanely slow at the same time. They just keep speeding through dialogue which makes it so there's hardly ever time to breathe. A lot of the characters monologue in this movie and all of them go on for way too long. Also between almost every single scene there is a narrator telling us how and what the characters are doing instead of just showing us, but god forbid a movie encourage you to think.
The acting is also abysmal and so is the microphone quality, this movie is a musical and imo all of the music sucks in this movie, and it doesn't help with the fact that none of the actors in this movie know how to sing. And as soon as anyone even slightly raises their voice the microphone starts peaking and it hurts my ears.
The comedy in this movie is also awful they use jokes such as and I quote "Are you from Ohio or something?" and the characters don't swear in this movie so instead of saying the-f word the characters say fluff, I mean I get why they don't swear, this is a family movie after all, but if you don't want swearing in your movie then don't have them saying some "alternative" to the actual swear word!
The characters have no believable chemistry at all, they say that they're friends but you don't believe any of their relationships with each other. And it doesn't help with the fact that none of them have personality's and are all one dimensional, and any attempt to flesh them out fall flat because it never gets brought up again nor does it effect them negatively or positively.
This movie has a terrible score. They keep using the same songs over and over and over again, and none of the songs are good, hell they're not even mediocre they all suck.
The ending is very abrupt, after the villain monologues for a bit all of the characters wake up (meaning they where in Paige's drawings world) in their school, look at each other and smile and then the movie ends, with a boom sound effect that they used about a billion times in the movie.
The editing sucks so much, it's such a joke. I'm convinced that the editors were told that they could just do whatever they wanted. Sometimes when one of the 100 villains in this movie (yes this movie has a lot of villains and some of them just disappear and reappear) are talking about what they've done and what they're gonna do, it just cuts to some random characters just looking at them.
Some of the characters in this movie just disappear and reappear with no rhyme or reason whatsoever. It's not even just for plot convenience, because some of them just appear in one shot and then they don't come back for the rest of the scene or movie. And the only character who appears consistently is who else Calobi, who is also Paige's strongest drawing, obviously.
I watched this movie simply because I wanted to rate this movie 1/10. And its biggest crime is being insanely boring and insanely infuriating at the same time. The only, and I mean only time that I even laughed or smiled was in the villains death scene, and I kid you not it was the hardest I have ever laughed when watching a movie, not because it was good but because it was so bad that I loved it, and the best part out of all of it was that it was all played out completely seriously, you truly have to see it to believe it, plus it is the only good part of the movie, ironically.
I think that every single director and aspiring director should see this movie, not to show them how to make a movie, but to show them how not to make a movie.
Please don't watch this movie, watch Whiplash or Spiderman into and or across the spider verse instead.
