An anthology is the best way to tell short stories without stretching them into a full-fledged movie, which can often result in a lagging and ultimately unsuccessful film. This anthology depicts three stories helmed by three directors, showcasing the struggles in small-town India while delivering a sharp critique of the judicial system, politicians, and media.
The first story, featuring Johnny Lever and Jisshu U Sengupta, revolves around queer rights. It perfectly illustrates how even today, the judicial system criminalizes individuals with different preferences. This satirical comedy makes you laugh and think simultaneously. Director Kaushik Ganguly has created a very honest story, and both actors have performed brilliantly. This story is the best among the lot.
The second story is about how the pandemic has affected a small-time media company and the lengths they go to survive. Working in the same industry, I can vouch for the story's accuracy and well-researched satire. It shows the dark side of survival and how a client can control a company. Director Bhaskar Hazarika has done a good job, with great portrayals by actors Boloram Das and Preeti Hansraj Sharma. It is a fun yet eye-opening watch.
The third story is about a silent protest against the caste system, which prevents a village sarpanch from opening a bank account to utilize government funds. The movie highlights the righteous lady and her husband, played by Jitendra Kumar and Nimisha Sajayan, who fight tooth and nail against the system. They both do their parts well, but this story is not as engaging as the other two, despite being the longest. Director Gurvinder Singh's "Dharna Mana Hai" is the weakest of the three. Nevertheless, it raises a valid issue.
This anthology deserves your time and offers something new from the makers. Don't be swayed by the negative reviews.

Movie is combination of 3 unrelated stories , but one common thing in all 3 stories is human emotional touch and have a message. A must watch movie. Movie script is so tight that it does not give room to think any thing else but to go with movie. Movie have Thriller , Emotion and everything but there are no romance and no songs in movie. First story revolves around social evil of not accepting LGBTQ as normal or atleast acceptable. Second story have most of drama and shows how life forces everything to do and sometimes everyone agree to make compromise because its question of life and death. Story may have some over reaction of situation. Third story give message of accepting challenge and do it despite all odds.
It is a compelling anthology that delves into issues like queer rights, caste inequality, and pandemic life with authenticity and emotional depth. Its stories are beautifully interwoven, showcasing the resilience of the human spirit. Stellar performances across the board bring these narratives to life, making each moment resonate. A visually stunning film that not only entertains but also provokes thought and dialogue. Highly recommended for its bold storytelling and impactful messages. This film is not just a cinematic journey but a mirror to contemporary issues, urging introspection and change. A brilliantly executed anthology that deserves accolades for its courage and artistry. Do watch and let it inspire conversations.
I don't know who they people are? Rating it 7-10 it's not worth of even zero rating. I would say -10 rating for this. People who are rating 7-10 are the team of this filmmaker. What a trash fully time waste I finished it in half an hour skipping it very fast. Don't watch it . Only the first part of it that was of half an hour was ok. In which Johny lever is a COP. And It was about message for LBTQ. Other than that 1 hour is totally garbage story. Gaaliya Dene ka man kar rha hai salo ko. Ye top review Dene Wale jaha mile pakad k pit dalo in sab ko. Desh ki janta ko pagal bna hai ye sarey milkr.
