I have not felt frustrated at the end of a small 8-part miniseries in a long time. I craved many more episodes of this gripping, fulfilling, and hilariously funny legal drama.
Lawyers are considered bottom feeders until they achieve a certain prestige level, at which point all their judicial and legal sins are forgiven. Classism is alive and well in the legal profession too, and this show brilliantly illustrates that. The cases shown here are real and tangible, thorny turns of the road that have remained unresolved for decades. The episodes highlight real human drama and tragedy and the cost of justice denied through delay.
The characters are incredible. Ravi Kishan is the massive planet Jupiter around which the entire show revolves, and he executes this role with gravitas and finesse. This is a lawyer on the cusp of greatness, and he must choose his road. Naila Grewal represents the selfless, idealistic newcomer who still believes in the legal system and is unwilling to bend the rules in a broken system. Nidhi Bisht is the firecracker in the barn, the shameless, fearless lady lawyer who will go to any length to build her unrecognized career. Each knocks it out of the courtroom.
There must be an adjournment to the second season.

I don't know why this kind of content is still so rare in India when it is demanded the most. A light hearted comedy drama that introduces us to ground reality of a profession or a setup just like Panchayat...yes 'PANCHAYAT', it gave me the same vibe. The characters are interestingly written stuck in believable situations and played by some of the very fine Actors across in industry, special mention to Ravi Kishan who is flawless in black coat. The direction is good, dialogues are witty and stories are based on some of the real life incidents as claimed in the series. I Hope to see a Second season of this with Ravi Kishan in it and would like to urge Netflix to focus more on this type of content.
Edit : So happy that it got renewed for a second season, wish the cast and the whole team a heartful Congratulations!!

There are many shows that entertain us, but a very few that touch our hearts. This is one of those.
A show that walks perfectly balancing the act of humor and sensitivity, theatrical and reality, hope and hopelessness, effort and chance.
The acts in the show were exaggerated and economical as needed. The characters take 2 episodes to sink in while they are evolving. The conviction in dialogue delivery wants you to believe them and their non-judgements wants to change something inside you.
The finish unexpectedly beautiful, leaves you content with what was seen, but makes you want more with much sincerity.

Why don't lawyers go to the beach?
Because even the sand can't escape their scrutiny - it's always under "appeal"!
Courts serve as a forum to address various social injustices prevailing in the world. They are often viewed as a social gutter, where even minor disputes can take years to resolve.
"Maamla Legal Hai," despite the tense and tiring atmosphere commonly associated with legal proceedings, presents a captivating and humor-filled courtroom drama on Netflix. I assure you that it will not only make you laugh but also provide enjoyment from the beginning to the very end.
Episode 3, in particular, stands out as the funniest.
From Ravi Kishan to Naila Grewal to Nidhi Bisht, each actor has portrayed their roles beautifully.
Don't hesitate; just click, watch, and enjoy.

Set up in the background of court room, this comic drama shows the many forms of law and justice in day to day issues of common man but on a lighter note.
Backed by some superb performances from the lead cast Ravi Kishan equally supported by the co actors who take us on a ride which is filed with fun, emotions, ambitions, law & justice.
Each episode portrays issues of common man ,and thier resolutions in court rooms in our day to day life , which are even inspired by true incidents.
Life of lawyers, bar association, elections, are portrayed in a very subtle and close to realistic possible.
Good work by director Rahul.
All in all good fun to watch.
