I was bowled over by this latest Dorcel movie directed by Liselle Bailey. I have long wondered what it would be like to have a mainstream film by this very talented British pornographer, and this comes quite close, though of course it is strictly still an XXX effort.
Carollina Cherry gives a subtle performance as a housekeeper (really a cleanup maid) working at a small hotel who takes the viewer on a behind the scenes peek at what goes on there, with an emphasis on sex. A melancholy mood is sustained, by a very fine and subtle musical score and her own hermetic behavior. She services a busty MILF guest (an impressive Nina Heels a/k/a Lucette Nice) and wonders about what's going on with Nina's boss, the enigmatic Mrs. James (a British actress who goes uncredited) and James' bratty son Sam Bourne. But the real mystery concerns a new guest, Mr. Payton (Dorcel regular James Duval) who Cherry refers to simply as The Sad Man.
After various sexual adventures in the hotel, Cherry makes a frightening discovery that turns this mystery briefly into a thriller. It's amazing how Liselle balances the eroticism with excellent and stylish storytelling - her most adventurous movie since the similarly "interior journey" of Ella Hughes' character in "Ella, the Sex Addict" seven years ago.
In addition to the striking presence of Nina Heels, also arousing is the presence of naturally busty brunette Simon Kitty (a/k/a Kimberly Simon) who services Luke Hardy in an impromptu threesome with Alice Martin.
