Outdoors filming of "The Other Half" coincided with the rare emergence of the 17-year cicada, involving an insect swarm of Biblical proportions. These docile but noisy insects make several appearances in the film.
Director David Field met actress Angela M. Roy while waiting in line at the NYC Department of Motor Vehicles. She starred in his first film CATERPILLAR, and they have since maintained a close working relationship.
