After years of estrangement, Ami returns to her recently deceased grandfather's house. As she sorts through his possessions, she comes to reacquaint herself with the man she had once cherished so deeply. When a neighbour informs her that her grandfather lived his final years in isolation and loneliness, Ami is overwhelmed with remorse. The chance to reconnect has gone. Instead, she finds a part of herself which she believed she had lost forever.
