The entire project was written, shot, edited and scored in less than 48 hours for the 2013 Los Angeles 48 Hour Film Project. All entries to the festival were required to include the following: A wrapped present as a prop, a character named Ed or Elly Marlina (Journalist), and the line of dialogue "I don't care. You decide."
Actor Chad Newhall severely bruised his knees from all the constant kneeling and standing between different takes of the film.
The entire movie is written as one long scene.
With the exception of Ed Marlina, all of the characters are named after Alfred Hitchcock or a character from one of his movies.
