In Iran, many people are against heavy sports for women. Many consider rugby a man's sport and do not see it as suitable for women.
Shima Poursahmedin was a member of Shiraz's first women's rugby team before entering the cinema.
In Shiraz, before the production of the movie "No land for Rugby", a women's rugby team was once formed, but after a short period of time, the team was disbanded.
Two years after this movie, the Shiraz women's rugby team was formed for the third time, and of course it was dissolved again.
