At Apolo FC academy, Adrián aims to become team captain. Complications arise with Jairo's arrival, a gifted player. Meanwhile, Lara's captaincy of the women's team faces opposition.
Jairo and Adrián are roommates and rivals on the team. At the same time, Patterson, the women's team coach, scolds Belén for skipping practice. Finally, the team splits in two and damages the friendship between Lara and Meriem.
Lara applies the methods of Patterson and provokes the rejection of her teammates. Meanwhile Adrián's father signs Jairo, this causes a breach in the relationship with his son and the distrust of Willy, the coach of the men's team.
Lara injures Meriem in training and an investigation is opened to find out if it was an accident. Adrián feels questioned on and off the field, but surprisingly Jairo considers him a friend and confesses the attraction he feels for Lara.
Willy leaves David on the bench angering his father and giving him an opportunity to get off the team. Adrián and Jairo spend time together and Tomás suspects that there is something more between them, Adrián approaches Lara to deny it.
Jairo discovers that Adrián has spent the night with Lara, he feels betrayed and cannot control his emotions in training. Patterson becomes angry with Belén after losing a game and the team has to decide who he supports: her or the coach.
The situation with Patterson becomes complicated and ends with Lara looking for a future outside of Apolo and asking Tomás to represent her. At the same time, the first division men's team needs a player for the next Cup match, and the position is between Adrián and Jairo.
The confrontation between Adrián and Jairo intensifies as they fight for a place in the first team. Meanwhile, Lara, already separated from the team and with no prospects of changing clubs, decides to leave the academy.
