For me, one of powerful short films with virtue of wake up. Not exactly for adaptation of a real fact, for tension itself or for Toby bitterness , but for essential truths defining our sciety , easy ( and very comfortable to ignore ) who, at the first sight, are only isolated accidendents.

In a gay bar, a customer . Many drinks, isolated at his table, between sleep and thoughts. The bartender in the new shift looks for help him after the not polite dialogue between guy and the bartender of previews shift.

The facts are simple - war veteran- like the bartender-, ignored and insulted returning in motherland, without friends, family, future. Depressed sounds the simple conclusion. But he got a grenade and the presence of mind of bartender evits a tragedy.

Sure, the details of the last minutes of film offers a better image about events. But significant remains the message And the fair remind of the state of many people near us , alone, isolated, in womb of deep depression.
