MobLand

As always guy ritchie is up to his game and the stacked actors list does absolutely amazing. Tom Hardy just fails to dissapoint, guy is an absolute legend of acting, just like pierce, and when you add that to complete chaos of a guy ritchie scenario, you get a slow burning, absolute masterpiece where every second of every episode is worth watching.

Ronan Bennett's "MobLand" (2025-) delivers a compelling and immersive crime saga, drawing viewers into a meticulously crafted world of underworld intrigue and complex characters. The series excels in its gritty realism and the nuanced performances from its ensemble cast, bringing a raw authenticity to the criminal landscape. Its narrative, while intricate, unfolds with a gripping pace, constantly building tension and offering unexpected turns that keep the audience thoroughly engaged. The dialogue is sharp, intelligent, and authentic, feeling natural and contributing significantly to the show's dark and atmospheric tone. Instead of a generic crime drama, "MobLand" offers a deeply layered and genuinely captivating exploration of loyalty, power, and survival within a brutal world.

Is it worth watching? Absolutely. "MobLand" is a highly engaging and well-executed crime series that promises a rich narrative and strong performances, making it a compelling watch for fans of the genre.

The first word that comes to my mind after watching Mobland is...amazing! Mobland is about two mob families that are in a war with each other that threatens everyone lives and the empires they work for. In the middle is a fixer named Harry Da Souza (Tom Hardy) who tries to stop these two families from eliminating each other. The cast is just brilliant...Tom Hardy, Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan lead a terrific cast who are all at the top of their game here. Mobland is directed by Guy Ritchie so if you're a fan of his you'll love this and if you're not you'll still love it. This is easily one of the best shows of the year and I hope we get multiple seasons of it. It's a gritty drama with plenty of action and twists to keep you entertained throughout each episode. I really can't recommend this show enough.

MobLand is a proper gem, easily one of the best British gangster shows in years. Helen Mirren is ice-cold as Bella Harrigan, Pierce Brosnan oozes charm & danger, and Tom Hardy brings real grit to Harry Da Souza. Paddy Considine's tortured Kevin is spot on.

The supporting cast aren't just there to pad the story line, they all add to the dynamics of the plot & each has played an important part by the end of the series.

The story moves fast, the dialogue hits hard, and there's no filler. It's not just about gangsters, it's about family, power, & what people do when the pressure's on. Every scene feels tense, but it never goes over the top.

It looks great too. Stylish without being flashy, with a soundtrack that keeps things simmering underneath & the best use of "The Beast in Me" by Johnny Cash in a series ever. You believe in this world, and you want to stay in it.

Just finished watching and I thought it was an amazing show. The acting was superb all across the board, with every character feeling alive and believable. The story kept me hooked from start to finish, full of twists that were exciting and genuinely unpredictable. It also had a touch of dark humor, used sparingly and in just the right moments, which made it even better.
