A quite moving, reflective short film with very entertaining scenes. Reflecting many similarities with the real life of some people who go through strong moments of loneliness, sadness, and depression.
"Soft Rain" seems to me a great success in the way it executes its narrative and what it aims to offer, being a very enjoyable short film from the very beginning. Giving a very realistic portrayal of the lives of many, whether it's from the start of their work activities to how atmospheric conditions can affect you.
Sacha Goedegebure stands out for a very reflective and memorable story, with great character development providing a release on the topic of depression. Being more common than we believe and because of that, it surprises with this short.
In terms of characters, animation, color tones, and movement sequences, it is very well done for its reflective approach. A pretty decent job that definitely deserves more recognition in the world of short films.

Despite this, we always encounter those beings of light who complement and support the situation. Being thus fundamental in strong moments and undoubtedly magical. "Soft Rain" is admirable because it reflects this point in such a way that it conveys the message very clearly to any viewer.
