    DNF

I watched like 20 minutes of it, enough to find everything: budget, story, characters, dialogue, fighting, acting, direction to be terrible. I mean, the starting scene is a woman carrying a child in slow motion and monologuing using words like "math". She's supposed to be a medieval outlaw.

I actually wanted to see this because Kevin Sorbo and orcs, I thought it was another Arrowstorm Entertainment production, but it's another entertainment's and it's not good at all.

What really spooked me is that really good veteran actors were doing so poorly: James Cosmo, Angus MacFayden, even Kevin Sorbo, even if he mostly plays himself at all times. The moment they introduced a small girl that couldn't act if her life depended on it, I turned it off.

    At least 8 stars

This film offers a perfect blend of adventure, action, and emotional depth, satisfying both fans of the fantasy genre and those seeking a meaningful story. The plot focuses on Diana, portrayed by Natalie Burn, a bold and resilient outlaw determined to fight against the oppression represented by the tyrant Lord Roland, played by Kevin Sorbo.

Burn's performance is extraordinary; she manages to convey the strength and vulnerability of her character, allowing viewers to experience her journey of struggle and redemption. Sorbo, on the other hand, delivers a portrayal of a charismatic and formidable villain, whose intensity greatly enriches the film. The chemistry among the cast is palpable, and each actor adds significant value to the storyline. John Real's direction is skillful and well-balanced; his keen eye for detail populates the film with breathtaking scenes and well-choreographed action sequences, maintaining high adrenaline levels and audience interest. The soundtrack perfectly accompanies the events on screen and intensifies the emotions in every crucial moment. The music enhances the emotional involvement, making viewers feel part of the story. In summary,

"The Last Redemption" is a film that goes beyond mere entertainment; it is a true gem to discover!

An epic adventure that transports us to a fantastical world!

This film is an epic adventure that transports us to a fantastical world rich in pitfalls and betrayals. With a cast of charismatic actors, including Kevin Sorbo, Natalie Burn, James Cosmo, and Angus MacFadyen, the film manages to capture the audience's attention from the very first minutes.

The plot revolves around Diana, portrayed with great intensity by Natalie Burn, a daring rebel who stands against the wicked Lord Roland, played by Kevin Sorbo. Her mission to save an innocent princess leads her, along with her loyal brothers, to become a legend in the kingdom of Brea. The struggle for freedom and justice intertwines with the lives of the protagonists, creating a strong sense of connection and determination.

The film stands out not only for its gripping story but also for its visual realization. The action sequences are well choreographed and set against breathtaking landscapes that do justice to the fantastical setting. The malevolent creatures, such as orcs, are depicted with attention to detail that enriches the imaginary world of Brea.

John Real's direction is superb, and the staging is truly epic. Everything is accompanied by a score of great emotional impact.

However, "The Last Redemption" is not without its flaws. Some plot twists are predictable, and at times, the pacing can slow down, leaving the audience waiting for a plot acceleration. Nevertheless, the film's central message-the importance of unity and courage in the face of adversity-resonates loud and clear.

In conclusion, "The Last Redemption" is a film that combines adventure, justice, and human relationships in a fantastical context. Thanks to a talented cast and an engaging narrative, it manages to entertain and inspire. It is a work to be seen for fans of the fantasy genre and for those seeking stories of redemption and the fight for freedom. A journey that, despite its ups and downs, leaves a mark and invites reflection on what it truly means to fight for what is right.

    Just sad rubbish...

So, went in expecting a time waster, watchable swords and armour flick, no expectations.

My already low expectations were sadly dashed by just how boring, wooden and stupifying this sad excuse for a movie really is.

Stilted dialogue, terrible continuation, rubbish sound, the list goes on and on... Now, apparently there is a clever plot, however I missed have missed this bit as I drifted in and out of sleep through sheer boredom.

Further Orcs? What Orcs as advertised? Bunch of bad cheap rubber maks that really has very little relivence to whatever storyline already vaguely existed and Gimli and Legolas would have been very disappointed at the lack of challenge they presented... To summerise, if it is a choice between a root canal proceedure at your Dentist, or watching this movie I highly recommend the root canal as the more pleasurable option.

Epic adventure flick that packs a real punch

This movie presents itself as an epic adventure that enchants and engages viewers with an enticing combination of action, drama, and universal themes. The film, featuring an exceptional cast that includes Kevin Sorbo, Natalie Burn, James Cosmo, Angus McFadyen, and Neb Chupin, manages to do more than simply entertain: it offers a profound reflection on the meaning of doing the right thing. The film may seem like a western, but in reality, it is a fantasy, and this is incredible. The story focuses on Diana, stunningly portrayed by Natalie Burn, a determined outlaw fighting against the oppression imposed by Lord Roland (Kevin Sorbo), a well-defined antagonist whose thirst for power represents a constant threat to the kingdom of Brea.

Burn's performance is intense and charismatic; she brings the audience into her internal struggle and motivations, making her an unforgettable protagonist. Sorbo, in his portrayal of Lord Roland, embodies the malice and determination of the perfect villain. His stage presence captures attention and adds tension to every scene he appears in. The interactions between Diana and Roland create a conflict rich in nuances, keeping the viewer on the edge of their seat. James Cosmo, playing a wise mentor, provides valuable guidance and a role model that enriches Diana's journey. On the other hand, John Real contributes his charisma in the role of a loyal and attractive warrior, adding depth and gravity to the narrative, while Neb Chupin and his daughter Lutze Chupin bring a dimension of lightness and humor, offering necessary pauses amid the tumult of action. John Real's direction stands out for his ability to create a richly detailed fantastical world, supported by breathtaking cinematography that highlights both the beauty and danger of the kingdom of Brea. Every action scene is skillfully choreographed, combining dynamism and emotion, and viewers often find themselves experiencing the adrenaline of fights and the tensions of critical situations.

Moreover, the film's soundtrack is deeply engaging and manages to amplify the emotions of each sequence, enriching the visual experience and making key moments even more poignant. In summary, "The Last Redemption" is a film that appeals to our sense of justice and the desire to fight for what is right. With its mixture of gripping action, well-developed characters, and a powerful message, this film is a must-see for adventure cinema lovers. It represents a true celebration of human courage and the importance of friendship. Don't miss the opportunity to immerse yourself in this extraordinary cinematic adventure!
