"The Boy with the Pink Pants" is a film that explores the theme of prolonged bullying toward teenagers during a delicate phase of adolescence.
If it weren't for a few flaws (which I'll now list), the film would be much better - both in terms of cinematic style and emotional impact.
So, the flaws in the film are about three or four.
The first is that the film lacks depth - it feels flat - and this is due to the second point: the acting. In some parts, the performances come across as superficial and emotionless.
The third point I'd like to highlight is that the bullying scenes (there are only a couple) are not very explicit, and because of this, they risk taking away the film's sense of realism and, as mentioned in point one, contribute to making it feel flat.
Overall, the film is watchable and suitable for teenagers, as it shows the harsh side of bullying.
It's a real shame about the lack of depth and the acting, which could have been much stronger.
