The Seven Relics of ill Omen

I have watched the first four episodes so far, and nothing seems to be happening. The protagonists, with great effort, have managed to discover what was obvious to the audience from episode one, and they are way behind from what is already revealed - hence no mystery there - from the show synopsis about relics, parasites, aliens, etc.

The cinematography is on par with a soap opera, and although the actors are all good, they seem miscast or at least awkward in roles that don't suit their strengths or screen presence.

I will follow through with two more episodes out of curiosity and hope, but I'll drop it if nothing improves significantly.

Now I'm not one to comment too much on a show when I just started it but 6 episodes in and I'm not sure I'm going any further with this one. I feel like this show was overhyped, I kept seeing clips on youtube, hence why I decided to watch in the first place. And it has so far been underwhelming and I have so much to say about it.

Lets start with the first episode, yes it was slightly intriguing thanks to the cinematic flashbacks but the entire episode feels incomplete. If I was judging the show by the first episode, I wouldn't have been convinced to go any further.

Another thing is that the plot is too convenient. How the main leads meet, how the ML convinces the FL to work with him after a five minute conversation. How they easily solved a twenty something year old mystery in a few days. Its like the writers are not even trying to convince us.

And why are the characters so unlikable? Is it the ML who was playing mysterious for 3 episodes only to tell us his entire life story in like the 4th episode. Or the FL who is so inconsistent, strong and brave one minute and then crying like a scared kitten the next. And don't even get me started on that thirteen guy!

Conclusion, I'm disappointed.
