Sidequest is a wildly entertaining mix of humor, curiosity, and cultural discovery. Omar Parker and Charlie Burt take viewers on an unforgettable journey across the globe as they dive headfirst into local traditions, foods, and quirks-all with the goal of being "swallowed alive" by the cultures they encounter.
The show strikes a perfect balance between hilarity and insight. Whether they're bumbling through unfamiliar customs or sharing fascinating tidbits about a region's history, their adventures are both laugh-out-loud funny and genuinely informative.
The Japan episode, in particular, was a standout for me. From their escapades in bustling city arcades to unexpected cultural surprises, every moment was a blend of chaos and charm. It perfectly captured the beauty and eccentricity of Japanese culture while keeping the humor sharp and the pacing engaging.
Sidequest isn't just about travel-it's about embracing the unknown with open arms and a sense of humor. It's a must-watch for anyone who loves cultural exploration served with a side of laughter.

Honestly one of my favorite Tumbleweed bits. So excited to see it as a show! The Japan episode shows how crazy awesome Tokyo is and how peaceful and calm Kyoto is. It really is a good travelers guide, but doesn't fall into a lot of the same holes other travel shows do. It doesn't try to teach you too much, or talk down to you, or tell you what you should think about the nations politics. It's just a couple guys actually just out there to have fun and enjoy their time. Very curious where their next destinations will be with the new season. Heard from GQ they were looking at South Africa but who knows? All I know is I will be there to watch it.
Omar and Charlie are pure chaos in the best way, and I'm here for it. Charlie doesn't just push boundaries-he catapults over them, leaving a trail of unpredictability that's impossible to look away from. The dynamic between these two is absolute gold, and from the moment it started, I was glued to the screen. Every twist, every outrageous stunt had me on the edge of my seat, laughing, cringing, and wondering what could possibly happen next. It's the kind of entertainment that keeps you hooked from start to finish, and I loved every second of it.
Please, don't stop. Keep traveling, keep creating, and keep taking us along for the ride!

Will watch anything Omar and Charlie make together, and you should too. Charlie is my favorite, he's always the unhinged one. Any situation you are in, Charlie will take it to the next level. Where there is fire, he will be there with gasoline. Where there is a racetrack, he will be there with a semi that has a racecar engine. You never know what he's going to do, which is why we all love him. Honestly I think they should go through Europe next. Think watching a bunch of young Texans barrel through a lot of European nations would be absolutely priceless coming from creators who joked being French is "a choice" to their audience.
I binge watched this all in one night. Loved seeing how they embraced every new experience with open hearts and genuine curiosity. From breathtaking landscapes to the vibrant pulse of cities, their interactions with locals felt authentic and heartfelt. The duo's chemistry and humor made the adventures even more enjoyable, keeping me engaged and entertained throughout.
This show isn't just about travel; it's about connection and perspective. Watching Omar and Charlie navigate unfamiliar terrains and traditions reminded me of the beauty of stepping outside your comfort zone. Can't wait for more episodes!
