Before the next quest our contestants have the chance to rest and chow down on some product placement.
Votes are cast and the top 10 are chosen to become team leaders. These 10 get to pick their teammates one at a time. This is different to last season where all the rejects ended up on one team. I think it's fairer this time. It's interesting to see how the leaders pick their teams and what they prioritise and what they feel they lack themselves.
The lowest ranking teams are put up to be challenged by other teams. If more than one team challenges them they can choose which team they would like to go up against.
The 5v5 quest is revealed to be a battle where contestants must run through a maze and stack weights onto 3 sets of scales. The team that controls two out of the three scale is the team the wins. The losing team is eliminated. I didn't expect to see a battle like this. It seems to be about tactics as much as it is about strength and physical abilities.
