113mn for this nonsense is way too long. Shot in 'Scope format, it gives on very few occasions some beautiful shots. Very picturesque indeed. That's the main asset of the movie.
Apart from this, oh, the void. The main lead can be seen as pretty, but he just can't act. That's painful to see him trying to do so and downright embarrassing. I had never heard of him and I guess his acting career will be over soon.
For the rest of the cast as well, the director can't seem to make them act properly.
Among this story of two bodyguards trying to find the daughter of a billionaire, you'd expect a bit much. But Jo, it has obviously been shot on a shoestring. And it looks like it.
You have two goons getting punched over and over again the whole movie, an over-acting Chinese daddy trying to get ahold of some lithium, and this sex-starved Ava apparently manipulating everybody. They just appear lost in here.
Passed the first 10mn, you could feel they were trying to do something plausible - but then it all goes down the drain. It's sheer nonsense. The screenplay is going nowhere, I gather they lost the script along the process.
The fights scenes are ok, though. I'll give them credit for that. But alas, they threw them trying to awake me. Dialogues were clunky as hell, to make things worse.
The gay thing is useless - and, yes, I was curious about that. But really? Give us a Scott Adkins B-level of action wit a gay twist and yeah, we'll finally get a true gay action movie. With this one, it's barely an overlong drama with 3 fight scenes.
This could have gone with easily 30mn less - and test still very bad.
I give it a 3 as it's still nicely shot at some point. Doesn't deserve a 1, I've seen far worse - and those who put a tenant have been pretty high. Or from the company who dumped this?

Film was very well done and I enjoyed the actor's performance greatly !! The arcs in the film enhance the story line and create a sense of one's ability to relate to the characters goal and reel in one's feelings so you start to feel what they feel !! I love how this movie actually moved me and I am looking forward to seeing a sequel to this film because I found it to be unique and very well done from the writing to each of the characters performances. It started out strong and built up the peak then landed with a strong ending that left me feeling it was complete but I longed and yearned for more and more so I am looking forward to a sequel if possible !
I was intrigued by this movie's description as being a "gay" action movie and also starring one of my favourite models on Instagram (Fabian Arnold). Unfortunately, this movie fell beneath even my lowest expectations. Fabian is beautiful and looks incredible as always, but he really can't act at all - to be honest, neither can anybody else in the cast. The plot is completely nonsensical and the movie goes absolutely nowhere after almost two hours. Production values are pretty much non-existent, the movie is riddled with continuity errors and looks like it was shot on an iPhone with a bunch of filters. On top of that, the description of this being a "gay action movie" isn't even accurate, as the gay part of the plot is awkwardly shoehorned in near the end of the movie - it's as if the filmmakers realized this was the only way they could grab an audience for this movie (the "gay action movie" market isn't very competitive).
My rating is probably way too generous - this movie isn't really worth your time at all. Hopefully, somebody with more talent and a budget can put together an actual "gay action movie" at some point.

Great film! Few qualities hit harder for me than the right blend of action and comedy, which Big Rage nails perfectly. I loved the budding chemistry between Chad and Clarke, the two leading roles, despite their rough start and seemingly opposing personality types. Every character really brought something unique to this film, from the good guys (Leeper Sterling), to the bad guys (Ava), to everyone in between (Chantelle! Haha). The casting choices were spot-on and, at points, this felt like a big budget Hollywood blockbuster. Big Rage will make you laugh, at times make your blood boil, and inevitably, warm your heart. Do yourself a favor and give this film a watch!
Unbelievable! Must be seen to be believed. Rivals the worst dialogue and directing since the late great Ed Wood.
All of the performances are so uniformly awful that it would be unkind to single anyone out. It is even possible that some of them could act with a competent director and a halfway literate script.
I was attracted to this movie because the Salton Sea is a fascinating phenomenon that I don't recall being used in another movie. The lithium angle sounded promising. And the absurdly high rating was misleading.
I suspect the positive ratings and reviews all came from friends of the director, writer, and actors.
It could become a cult favorite like The Room. See it for laughs.
