Knowing very little about the camera they were using, the producers didn't realize that the frame-per-second ratio was off. Alas, a good portion on the moving seems very slowed down and wavy.
Asher Lewis was the original editor hired for the film. When 5 months went by with no work being done to the film, the producers hired David Moro to edit it.
Actor Billy Ray broke his tooth while filming the scene where he chases Kelli Ann Simpson's character into the Pilner house. This happened when Ray lunged at the door Simpson's character hides behind. Ray walked off set after it happened and didn't return for several weeks causing production to slow.
Writer/director Ryan Willer originally saw himself playing the role of Duncan Mcrainley. About a month before filming began Willer saw Jonathan Kunke in a local play and was impressed with his performance. He soon after contacted Kunke to discuss replacing him as Duncan. Kunke read the script and agreed to the part and the deal was done.
The original editor, Asher Lewis, convinced the producers to recored the audio directly into the camera...a poor decision as this is not how sound is commonly recorded.
