I recently watched Trapped in Lust (2024) on Tubi. The story follows a couple dealing with the fallout of the wife's infidelity-an impulsive mistake during a wild, adventurous night. As she struggles to keep her secret hidden, the guilt becomes unbearable, leading to an inevitable reckoning.
Co-written and co-directed by Gregory Lamon Griggs and B. Octavious Sims (Trans-Me Reloaded), the film stars Shannon Brinson (Due Date), Tammy Huling (Practice What You Preach), Pha Michelle (Organz the Movie), and Tron Montgomery.
This was a wild ride with some fun twists and turns. While the acting and dialogue are fairly straightforward and mediocre, they're authentic enough to keep your attention. The leading ladies are gorgeous, and there's some nudity. The mother character is completely over-the-top, clearly a knockoff of Madea.
Ultimately, this is another bad Tubi Original-not unwatchable, but definitely not good either. I'd rate it 4/10.
