Meet the Russians

It is the best satire on Putin's Russia I've ever seen. Plenty of humour, but it is pitch-black and as dry as a funeral drum, so Americans don't really get it in their mass audience. Perhaps one has to be a bit British to enjoy it fully.

Well, characters are revolting.... So what? Russians are exactly like that - self-obsessed and incapable to view themselves at funny angle, which actually makes them very funny! If they were not so aggressive and poorly educated.

As a future development of the same theme I suppose the Broadway musical show will do very well, providing Mel Brooks will agree to lease the Producers format and Mr. Putin is included in dance routine.

Springtime for Puutin and Ruuuu....sssssi-a! Autumn for poor Ukraine!

Came across the show again long after its release and thought how brilliantly positive and extravagant are the characters - pushing the boundaries of our perception - first by feeding us what we might already imagine, but then getting into the realities of why life is that way and how it is to have your day to day normality on top of the world...my favourites to watch are mother of three boys - Maria Pogrebnyak, Natalia Kapchuk always driven, and of course Veronica Voronina - love the dynamics and gracious calmness in that crazy vibrant life. Personally Wow!

Love it or hate it! Must watch for the inspiration!

1 out of 10. Meet The Russian's is a terrible show , not just because people are revolting . This has to be the worst TV ever to me made and I feel sorry for Russian's who now have these people as their representatives. The worst thing is most of these people would not even understand someone else's opinion as they are all too self centred. I am so lost as to who exactly other than themselves this TV show works for, or indeed the Director and Producers who i presume got paid to make this. I have never ever watched so much absolute trash on TV. I have tried to be okay about this show and I can not be. Is it me or have we just hit all time low? Is this culmination of the Art and craft of Russian poets and writers and all the suffering that has happened over the years come to? Sorry Russia! Perhaps these people are the modern Tsarists and we can understand what the Russian's felt at the time of revolution. I mean don't we all want to revolt against this injection of air into our TV blood stream. The characters are people who should not have money as they have no idea how am sure that The Veronika character who looks after oligarchs and sheikhs as well as celebrities like Bruce Forsyth, Goldie Hawn, Kate Hudson , Black Eyed Peas, who proudly talks about how she looks after her clients but can't name them but them names them is a oddity , she should re name her company from The Anonymous to The Identified . The Zahoor person and wife just are awful and without being too middle class hope that they find out that the way they live is offensive. laughed to read that some of the people blogs twitters who appear in this show realize that perhaps it was not such a good idea and are trying to back track and blame the production team as whole. It was not me ! I am not like that ! Errhum Yes you are and you got filmed.Overall the Show is badly directed by chefs who can only ever make cheese with more cheese! We need more shows like this? Help us all! I
