Vegard Ylvisåker is Bard Ylvisåker's older brother.
Bård and Vegard have a younger brother, Bjarte, who is featured in the Ylvis song "I Will Never Be A Star".
Calle Hellevang-Larsen has known and worked with the Ylvisåker brothers since high school.
Calle was absent for the show's second season due to contractual obligations with the comedy trio Raske Menn.
Ylvis never intended for their song "What Does The Fox Say" to gain the attention it did. It was meant as a fun, absurd project to promote the new season of their talk show as a favor from the production team Stargate, but it went viral instead, notably in the United States. Ironically, before the song's release, the brothers had jokingly stated in an interview that they would never become famous in America.
