Travis is a great host. He was made to be a cheesy (in the best way) game show host. I was impressed by him. Very charismatic. While I didn't know of some of the celebrities before watching the show, they were are all fun and have good chemistry. I left a fan of all of them. It's a good and light hearted watch for the whole family. It's fun to play along and you end up rooting for a lot of the contestants. They did a good job picking a variety of contestants with varying levels of knowledge and personality. I loved the original Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader and I love this version even more.
I expected Kelce to be so goofy and really awkward with this being his first hosting gig but he is charming as hell and looks amazing. He's a natural at this kind of thing. Travis's interactions with Ron, Nikki, Natasha and Ocho steal the show but he's also really quick witted with contestants like when they try to "hit" on him. He's really a great and genuine conversationalist with both the celebs and the contestants. Love his true or false dance that was seemingly spontaneous and then everyone loved it so much they make him keep doing it. To improve the show make the end prize worth more and get rid of some of the celebs who are more devoid of personality like Lala (surprisingly) and Sophia who are kind of meh and I'd love to see another season. Lilly is lots of fun too - love her. Also a buddy comedy with Ron and Travis would be amazing!! Yes please.
We tried, but after about ten minutes of the first episode we turned it off. Every question somehow gets a sorry. It's like Slumdog Millionaire but instead of flashbacks, the contestant talks about how he can relate to the question and how he knows the answer. Just answer the question and move on! I guess it takes a lot of monologuing to fill a 30 minute game show.
Travis Kelce is fine as a host, and the celebrities make sense for a show like this, but it seriously took way too long to get to the first question, and by the se one lengthy question segment we were done.if they need more to fill in the blank spaces, just add more questions.

I think I made it 10 minutes in the first episode and decided turning off the television mopping my floor was more exciting. A "I relate to this question" story for every question. Every. Single. Question. Play the game, I don't want to hear your life story on every question. I actually have to wonder if the 10-star ratings are even done by people watching or Travis' publicity team. Yea, he's a good football player and yea, he's dating Taylor Swift bit other than that, I think Joel McHale has more personality than he does. As for the celebrities, Nikki Glaser is the brightest light among them all so at least she was fun to watch the short time I tuned in.
So, I am not from the US. Fortunately. The contestants are really ignorant. And I mean shockingly. The level of ignorance displayed is fascinating even with "educated" contestants. The bar of the correct answer is so low, that even a mispronounced answer that is then written incorrectly is taken as correct. Celebs are even more ignorant than the contestants. The whole quiz is tragedy of US educational system at display. And people involved are actually excited...
The hype up done by everyone involved is sad. I don't know the mental level of the person who would actually match it at home. If you're kid, I could understand.
There are actually two celebs that know their stuff. The female comedian and the footballer with the beard. The rest of them are barely useful or completely useless.
