Flat, Forgettable Farce

I was ready for a fun, fast-paced comedy with Christian Clavier, but Le Million just fell totally flat for me. It's a comedy of errors, sure, but all the running around and misunderstandings felt more exhausting than funny. The plot about Stan trying to return the stolen cash before his promotion is sweet, but the frantic, "night-long chase" format felt incredibly been there, done that.

It really depends too much on these high-energy, over-the-top antics, and frankly, a lot of the jokes felt lazy and dated. Clavier's character as the locksmith was almost a caricature-he's the chaos element, but the humor was just too predictable. I was hoping for something fresh, but it was just a lot of yelling and rushing. Honestly, I didn't care much if they got the money back or not.

Save your time for something genuinely witty. You can definitely skip this one.
