    The second film classic, stasis

In the first film, there were high-quality jokes in almost every scene. While making jokes, there were no sincere thoughts like 'Will this upset someone? Will that person be offended?' When looking at this film, there are few high-quality jokes, most of them are in the style of situational comedy. The lead actor thinks he is Kemal Sunal and believes everything he does is funny. If you have watched the trailer, you have seen the best parts of the movie.

Additionally, the storyline feels forced and lacks the natural flow that made the original so charming. The chemistry between the characters seems off, and the humor feels more staged than spontaneous. Overall, it lacks the wit and warmth that made the first film a hit.

A Bold and Clever Reflection of Today's Turkey

Illegal Hayatlar: Meclis is a refreshing and sharp take on the current dynamics of Turkish society and popular culture. The script stands out for being both intelligent and fearless-managing to address relevant issues with wit and depth, all without targeting or harming any specific group. It strikes a delicate balance between humor and social commentary, and it does so with remarkable finesse.

What sets this film apart from many others in Turkish cinema is its ability to capture the spirit of the times. It's not just entertainment-it has something to say, and it says it well. In a landscape filled with repetitive formulas, Illegal Hayatlar: Meclis dares to be original, meaningful, and timely.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching it. If you're looking for a film that's both thought-provoking and entertaining, this one is definitely worth your time.

    Quality jokes

From start to finish, it's filled with sharp, clever jokes that hit the mark perfectly. The film's pace is quite high; each scene is funnier and more entertaining than the last, keeping the audience laughing constantly and engaged throughout. With its high-quality sense of humor, the absurd and funny situations faced by the characters are presented brilliantly. This allows you not only to enjoy yourself but also to encounter clever dialogue and creative scenarios.

Every detail in the film is thoughtfully crafted; both the energy of the characters and the plot constantly draw the audience in. The moments when you can't help but laugh, combined with clever dialogue and unexpected twists, make the film even more enjoyable. It appeals not only with surface-level jokes but also with social observations and subtle references. If you're looking for a quality comedy that keeps you smiling and laughing every minute, this film is definitely a must-watch. From beginning to end, it offers a delightful, laughter-filled experience.

    A powerful testament

Illegal Hayatlar: Meclis is a gripping, unflinching portrayal of life on society's margins, delving into themes of corruption, survival, and moral ambiguity. Director delivers a raw and immersive narrative, brought to life by stellar performances and striking cinematography that balances bleakness with moments of hope.

While some subplots feel underdeveloped, the film's emotional depth and thought-provoking commentary more than compensate. A bold, socially conscious drama that lingers in the mind

Also, as a fan of Mahsun Karaca, I appreciate the way he handles sensitive government-related topics with a magical touch of comedy.

    same as the first movie

The comments I made for the first movie are also valid for this movie. The characters are entertaining, some moments are funny, but it doesn't feel like a movie. While watching a movie, the more the audience focuses on the whole, the more cinematic the movie becomes. The general problem of comedy films after the 2000s is also present in this film. A narrative made up of sketches.
