This season has been absolutely beautiful and intriguing to watch! Every character has had an enjoyable storyline, but of course Nathan and Elizabeth's unfolding love story has been incredible to watch! I also have to say bravo to Chris McNally portraying Lucas Bouchard. He has had such an amazing story arch this season and his character has been perfectly executed by Chris. Episode 11 was by far the highlight of the season and I was on the edge of my seat with all the twists and turns and romance. The final scene had me emotional with happy tears. Give this show a watch, the story from start to finish is beautifully woven together. Kudos to Lindsey for an amazing writing of season 11!
I disagree with the poster that said that season 9 which was one of its highest rated seasons was because of Lucas & Elizabeth. Let's not forget that John Tinker toyed with us viewers from season 7 through the end of 9 on who Elizabeth would actually end up with. He would tease viewers with maybe Nathen, then go back to Lucas. It was tiresome for most us viewers. But it wasn't until almost the end of season 9 that Lucas actually proposed. That's when Nathen fans realized what was to be and lost hope for our beloved Mountie. The average rating for season 9 was 2.29.
Season 10 is where ratings began to fall through the floor. This is where Lucas and Elizabeth started making wedding plans and they tried pairing Nathen with Mei and Faith, that was a disaster. This is when WCTH lost most viewers because they felt that Lucas & Elizabeth were a solidified couple so they lost hope and left. The average rating for season 10 was 1.90, one of the shows lowest rated seasons. But by the end of this season Elizabeth realized she wasn't meant to be with Lucas. So the new show runner Lindsay Sturman seeing the writing on the wall pulled the plug on Lucas & Elizabeth.
Season 11 was just a bit better with an average rating of 1.92. This is where Elizabeth realizes she loves Nathen. So yes, ratings up just a bit, but after Tinker toyed with viewers so long ,lots of people stopped watching. It's hard to get them back after such disappointment. Elizabeth declared her love for Nathen in this episode 11 so this somewhat new, some people might not know of the course change yet. But I for one am hoping they will give the show another chance now that we have Elizabeth with her Mountie.

This episode had humor, thrills, and romance all packed into one show. I don't even know where to begin. The Rosemary and Bill storyline was full of mystery and comedy, the Lucas storyline was full of thrills and mystery, and the best storyline of the whole episode is when Elizabeth stopped running from her fears and finally told Nathan that she was in love with him.
This episode had it all and well worth the watch over and over. The writing was also outstanding and Lindsay Sturman did a phenomenial job in the episode and actually the whole season.
I would give this episode a 20 if I could, that's how good it was. Season 11, Episode 11 exceeded my expectations and kuddos to all the actors on this wonderful little show that keeps on going and giving to its fans year after year.

The new Era of WCTH which commenced in S10 was a Breath of Fresh air. The show had taken a strange detour and finally felt it went back to its roots. This episode is the culmination of the epic love story that Nathan and Elizabeth created since S 6. A brave and handsome Mountie comes to HV to protect a young mother with a little baby finds love , a story written in the stars.
This episode tops all season, after a dangerous evening , Nathan and Elizabeth jump to safety, jump to home, jump to love. No more doubts , the heart is calling them and Elizabeth cannot stay silent anymore. She tells Nathan everything he needed to hear , this monologue was epic and this man could not resist but to open up and kiss her.

Beautifully written and acted, this episode had all the feels. Action, intrigue, and finally the love story the majority of fans have been waiting for for 5 years. We knew Nathan was created for Elizabeth and we watched their love develop even during the dark years, when she buried her feelings for Nathan out of fear and he remained her friend and tried to move on. It's been wonderful to watch Elizabeth face her fears last season and this season. Last night's monologue was incredible! Erasing the horrible things she said and did during S8. What a stunning couple they are and I can't wait to see them build a life together with their sweet children. I loved the mystery that Jeannette was actually Shaw and how Nathan, Bill and Lucas brought her down. I'm hoping S12 will introduce a new love interest for Lucas, someone his fans will adore. Lucas deserves happiness too.
