DBT can not be a blanket for all who suffer

I'm a therapist and I can not believe the egotism and incompetent psychologists and therapists who are "leading" their self-centered mindset to have to prove what intervention and diagnosis they believe in. No client centered approach. No true compassion or empathy comes through in their interactions. The let's all just label suicidal people as BDP is horrendous and tremendously harmful in and of itself. These patients will be back within this incompetent group with more suicidal attempts and they will just say they are BDP and resisting DBT therapy.

    Where is Trauma Informed Care?

This is a great example of why psychiatric treatment never really helps or works well. It's all preventative care for only a week.

Intimate look at what psychiatric Doctors deal with

Dr. Jason Stasi was one of the staff there that convinced me that there is hope and you can tell he's got a passion for his profession. What isn't realized with this documentary is that the younger generation is different than all of the old minds and require different treatment. This series gives an intimate look at what psychiatric Doctors and patients go through on a daily basis. Hopefully it'll open eyes and start conversations about the state of mental health of these at-risk youth that desperately need help and otherwise have nobody to care for them. The Doctors and Social workers here go above and beyond and you can tell they genuinely care about getting these patients the help that they need. We need a follow up series featuring Dr Stasi, he seemed like he would have some really good sessions with his patients.
