I came across this film with a film festival, and I am very glad I did
I didn't know what to expect but, the tone was instantly set with the first scene.
This is a heist film and instead of showing the actual heist. It takes a different approach and it shows the aftermath of a heist.
The thing here is. It's very unpredictable in which direction it goes. ( I won't spoil it) But it really pays off and everything is very well done.
First off the acting is spot on and on point
James P. Daly as Bravo is someone you don't wanna mess with. He's dangerous guy who does what he needs to do to get the job done. Everything for money
And James P. Daly just nails this performance.
The thing that could go wrong fast, is that a character like this isn't completely developed. And doesn't reach the depth that a character needs.
But here with good writing and James P. Daly's performance. Simply outstanding
Fleur Laferte as Charlie may seem like the calm one, but this is a character who is actually the whole brains behind the operation.
Charlie is balanced with calmness, innocence intimidation and secrecy.
The way Fleur Laferte portrays this makes you believe that you honestly don't know which side she's on and if she's telling the actual truth or not. Huge compliment to the casting of her
Tyler Ramerion as Alpha is an interesting one. The film starts and opens with him waiting in the car
He is the getaway driver for this job.
Without getting into too much spoilers.
His role is a bit smaller, but let's just say that Tyler Ramerion definitely made an impact as Alpha in a very good and positive way.
Alpha's the angry one and the one who's alert.
Afraid of them being seen on camera's.
The way Tyler delivered these line while actually driving (I think?, it certainly looked like he was driving for real) He's definitely an actor who can own an entire scene.
He makes his presence felt in a way that is very interesing and unique.
Overall the acting of the 3 actors was spot-on Their chemistry as well.
Also the cinematography and the lighting is also something that is very well done.
It perfectly captures the tone and feeling of a unpredictable heist film.
Story wise, very well written. Nothing that's predictable and you just don't know which direction it's going
Lastly. That music on the end was amazing.
Would love to listen to that more often.
Overall Very very very good Short Film. Kinda wish it was a bit longer cause I was so into it
9/10.

Kudos to the director and the actors involved for creating such a captivating story for a short-film.
From the very first frame, I was hooked, drawn into the story and eager to see more. It might have been just 7minutes, but the storyline was so engaging that I found myself not wanting it to finish. You could definitely see the inspiration in cinematography, acting and whole essence from noir action drama films of the industry.
The surprising finale is the perfect capstone to an already mesmerizing experience. A must-watch for anyone who appreciates the art of storytelling in its most concise form.
