This is single handedly the best sports docuseries I have ever seen.
Opinion: I can't decide whether to hate Jerry or love him.
This should win some awards. I'm a carolina panthers fan and have always longed for this type of history. To be exposed in this way (i'm 30) was breath taking. Bravo to the whole creative team for telling this beautiful and thrilling story.
Opinion: Jimmy Johnson- best to ever do it.

This is an amazing documentary. As a Cowboys fan for all of my 63 years, this brought back good and not so good memories. It reminded me of why I love football and the Cowboys in particular. I agree with the previous review that the game sequences are so well done. I was biting my nails all over again! After trying to swear off the team after the last playoff loss to Green Bay, I couldn't do it. This reminds me that hope springs eternal.
Great series and content- over produced at times. As a lifelong Cowboys fan starting in 1977 I had hoped they would show a little more of the early years with Landry and Staubach but logically most of those players are not available and so the Doc is really all about the JJ era, which in fact became the most successful era of the franchise to date. It was both heartbreaking and heart wrenching at times just as reality often is and so on that note it was spot on. The rollercoaster ride that era was is what made the series so captivity, I watched the first 5 episodes in one sitting because I could not go to sleep without knowing what happened next. If you're a football fan you need to watch this PERIOD.
First of all, I'm a die-hard Cowboys fan living in DFW. Second of all, I'm in my early 30's so I know every ounce of what this documentary has to say. The sad part for me though, is I wasn't old enough to see it happen live. This documentary took me back to my childhood. Yet, it did so not from a place of nostalgia, but a place of what could be again. The Cowboys are called America's Team not because they are the most popular. They are America's Team because they symbolize what America can be. This documentary gives us an insight into what built the biggest brand in sports. Which is what America is... the biggest brand in the world. It shows it from a point of how all it takes is just a few hard-working people and a dream to achieve greatness. You don't need to be a Cowboys fan to enjoy this. You don't need to be a football to enjoy this. All you need... is to have a dream about something bigger than you.
I have really enjoyed watching this series. Jerry Jones probably thinks he comes off great but it shows him to be the egotistic clown that he is. He never should have been the Owner and GM. He didn't give Jimmy Johnson any credit and was jealous of him. He was lucky to get one more Super Bowl after firing him but the team has been a terrible disappointment ever since. They will never win another Super Bowl until he steps down.
