Toast

A very good short film by Mr. Andy Blithe. Toast tells the story of a man eating toast for breakfast. For me, it was more conceptual than that. The symbolic meaning behind the toast is very much a new recovery to finding something else to do in life. Incredibly gripping and thought provoking all the way through. I'm glad it also won a couple of awards I think at some short film festivals. Andy Blithe is mesmerising as Bob, the character from the first instalment. This isn't just about toast, this is about doing something you care about, and as an audience member I was just flabbergasted the entire watchthrough.
