This show is a delightful, light-hearted series with a truly satisfying ending. Each episode offers a fun and engaging experience, keeping viewers entertained from start to finish. While there are some moments that might come across as a bit silly, it's the kind of humor and tone you'll recognize after just one episode. If you find yourself enjoying the first episode, chances are you'll appreciate the entire series. However, if it doesn't click with you early on, it may not be your type of show. Overall, it's a charming watch that knows how to keep things enjoyable. Larger than life and silly moments make it enjoyable.

Rarely have I seen a more ignorant MC. It reminds me a lot of "Suppose a Kid from the Last Dungeon Boonies Moved to a Starter Town".

I'm not sure which of these two I like better. I think it would be this one, but the extreme idiocy and badly-written forced misunderstandings start getting more and more annoying once you're past the first few episodes. I'm sure there would have been a way to implement this concept in a way that isn't infuriating to watch.

If you ignore or don't mind the forced idiocy, the characters (if you ignore their stupidity) are mostly likeable, there is no fan service, and the animations are mostly good.

At first glance, there is nothing special about this anime. I normally don't do the medieval-esque classic fantasy animes since the original release of Record of Lodoss Wars back when I was a child.

HOWEVER, I took a gamble on this after seeing a trailer randomly on YouTube. It's by far the funniest show I've seen in a long LONG time. I was genuinely in tears at how consistently funny and face-palming the comedy of communicative errors were.

Basically...What if One Punch Man thought he sucked, and everyone failed to communicate to him how wrong he was.

He is so good at parrying; he can parry words... WORDS!

You're missing out, if you skip this one.

There's nothing that really stands out about this. The animation is fine but won't dazzle, character archetypes are pretty run-of-the-mill, and the story itself isn't exactly gripping. It's familiar because variations of what's presented has been done so many times before. Even the guild hall and overall setting may as well have been directly copy and pasted from another series. Were it not for the absurd humor, there would be little that separates it from anything else.

The things listed above can be seen as criticisms, but only if you're looking for original or groundbreaking work. Instead, they can also be viewed as points in its favor because they're taken from existing blueprints which people find enjoyable. The only thing a generic show needs to be decent is good pacing and effective presentation of whatever is being shown. This definitely has that, which makes it an easy watch.

For newcomers, this is fresh and interesting. For zealous fans of the medium and genre, it will be a comfort show that they probably sought out. For the average anime regulars that stumbled onto this, it's ultimately forgettable but you'll enjoy it while it's happening.

Imagine a guy who spends his early years in a jungle hut, isolated from village or town life. Then, after his mother's death, he enters the city for the first time-not to explore, socialize, or learn about urban life, but to train relentlessly for about 1.5 years. Despite his efforts, he is rejected for his inadequacies, labeled talentless and inept by the very teachers he admired.

Disheartened, he retreats back to the jungle, where he trains in solitude for another 15 years. By the time he returns to the capital, he knows next to nothing about the world, its customs, or even how to interact with people. He is, in essence, like a feral child in an adult's body. Of course, he would be ignorant, self-doubting, and foolish-it's completely in line with his upbringing.

So, if you're complaining that the MC is "too stupid," maybe the real issue is your inability to recognize how well his characterization makes sense.

It's a good anime love that even after doing all that he did he still thinks he's not worthy of a hero title. This anime is diffrent from other animes of this genre and i love it. Theres still alot of unanswered questions so if there is a second season im hoping to get that info. To be a overpower char with basic abilities is funny in my opinion. Really hoping for a season two. I'm pick up the light novels for sure i highly recommend this anime and I don't think it should be written of because it got alot of potential to be a good series. Maybe even go beyond 2 seasons heres to hoping. Keep up the good work.

A very enjoyable show that doesn't take itself overly seriously but has no filler or annoying overly goofy comic relief.

The story is good with deep characters who all have their own developed stories. The main character is the anime trope of a hero who trains incessantly and stays humble but always defeats any new threat (think DragonBallZ Goku). It's his influence that drives the stories and growth of all the other characters around him.

I read the light novels a few years ago and continue to follow them as they come out. The anime adaptation does a fantastic job staying loyal to the source material.

With out spoiling anything i have to say that i 100% hate the main character, and not because he is over powered, more for the fact that he is a dense strong man. We see him fight OP creatures with everyone around him in awe but the main character is always like "what, naaaa that was nothing compared to what you guys can do". For the first few times, sure thats good and all. But im in episode 7 and finding that he is still a dense man. The main character is unrealistic to what most people would feel when getting praise. In the story he says sorry to the enemy. With the enemy playing it off as a joke and the main character never picking up on that.

If there was a character sheet, the int for this character would be a 1 or a 2, and not the lovable kind of idiot.

People only hate on this show cause its not quite like the Overrated shows that copies off each other. The MC I thought was awesome, He is a little uneducated but that is a given since he lost his parents at a young age. Plus he raised himself all alone for the most part, so those of you calling him dumb need to rewatch it and get an understanding of what yall missed since he is not "dumb" He just doesn't know anything and you wouldn't either if you were in his shoes! He does lack a good amount of Common Sense though, Maybe if yall have him slowly learn some common sense here and there but not too much, as he still needs to be goofy and make us laugh and smile still. Most anime is too serious and to Arrogant. However this one has a balance, They found a sweet spot with potential! It really hits home, The Mc in this is Awesome, He never gives up. He Is motivated.

I Believe this Anime Can offer soo much more to its Audience, The world This Author created is Wonderful, Its has beautiful Landscapes and scenery , The art is Magnificent, i was amazed how well they have done on the shading in the scene where noor was talking to the shield lady "brainfart" Cant think of her name", under a tree.

The fighting scenes Were Intense it was great watching him being overpowered, But the fight scenes can have a bit more pizazz to it and some fight scenes a bit longer and bit more struggling. They were still great fight scenes.

This Anime Can go a Very Long way, if done right I'm Positive Yall can come up with at least 100 episodes and they be a hit if done right. Don't drag things out and ruin it like other anime has, MAJOR POTENTIAL.

Its one thing not releasing how strong you are but misunderstanding everything having conversation with villain as if he is a normal person (while he is trying to kill you along with everyone and he saying it himself). Why writer are obsessed with making OP Mc so dumb to the point it unbearable to watch their misunderstanding as if they traded their brain cells for power. Whats the point of strength when you can't use it. Rather making them unimaginable powerfully makes them powerful enough so they struggle. Dragging this stupidity is frustrating at least show some character growth. Like when meets the king everyone keel but he didn't. When he was told afterward that this is the king he still didn't understand. Taking everything lightly and misunderstanding everything. Like he is main character instead of internal monologue just tell him clearly its so stupid.

If that's your thing, this may be for you.

The protagonist, Noor, is literally a complete moron. He is incapable of 'reading the room', doesn't understand what's in front of him, and the simplest things confuse him.

The other characters could solve this by having actually communication skills. Just finishing a sentence would help. But they don't. They either let him remain ignorant, or only half finish what they should say.

If that's your thing, this may be for you.

I understand this is for comedic effect, but it's done so badly that it's embarrassing. I'm not sure who is to blame here, the original author, or those who wrote this anime.

Ok, so I was told give this a try. I thought I was going to see another solo leveling or shield hero type flick. But this....... this was just bad but not because of the anime. But the voice acting was horrible. I mean it felt like watching my older brothers 80s anime. It was that bad. I mean the delay between the next person talking. The bad dub over and the voices were just plain bad all together. Normally I say the dub is better than the Japanese version........ but in this case I was absolutely wrong. The dub over was trash. It literally destroyed the experience and the video.

This could have been better and more enjoyable with some better voice acting, and changing up the verbiage to not sound so cheesy and deliberately so. I'm sorry I know noor is supposed to be a bit of a numbskull, but this was over the top. This needs to be redone and fixed from the voiceovers. I'm hoping for a better abridged series. Because thus far this anime is being tainted by its bad dub over and speech through sounds just 80s and older than me.
